The Boys Hostel, including the Academic Block and Laboratory Buildings, was constructed in EPC Mode and inaugurated on 14th October 2014 for CPWD (Central Public Works Department). This project, which is spread in area of 2500 sqm marked the first use of prefabricated structures in the Srinagar region of Uttarakhand. The buildings feature dry wall cladding and were designed following the Green Building concept to minimize environmental impact while enhancing the well-being of occupants.
There are 122 rooms with a reading room, separate wardens and guard room in each floor. Each room is shared by three students. The capacity of this hostel is 366 students. We have designed the separate laboratory building along with Hostel building for NIT Srinagar. With its groundbreaking new technology features and a focus on speed and scale, the Boys Hostel stands as a landmark project, marking a significant achievement for the region of Srinagar , Uttarakhand.
